I just registered for IV. I wish I could come to DC rally on 18th. But due to certain unavoidable circumstances I may not be able too. Though not an excuse But I feel very guilty about it and this guilt will always remain there that I was not part of rally on 18th. C�mon boy I�m not asking to make Steve miller their VP operation and use that million dollar in grants to fund that project. What I�m asking is �can you tell us how many applications you received of which chargeability and in which EB categories� and assurance that they will issue EADs and APs in less than 90 days. To ask this you don�t need citizen rights you are asking a public agency a service which they are supposed to provide and they are charging us to do that�

i had put up the previous two posts on this page asking about relief for Schedule A professionals in 2008......time has passed by but nothing has changed.....no sight of any relief or any schedule A bill........missed the july 2007 fiasco due to employer insisting on 40 day cool off period........have been in US for 6 years......no sign of EB3 india being even close to Oct 2007 (my PD)........employer has refused to file EB2 point blank.......no other employer ready for EB2........spouse on h4 visa since oct. 2006......have lost all hope and just going through the motions......is there light at the end of tunnel???

Inspite of the new spillover policy and the additional FB visa's the EB2-I has retrogressed. This shows there is quite a bit of EB2-I demand. Regarding EB3I movement, donno when it will come out of the 2001 slump. The actual bulletin might show the ROW movement that could provide some hint to how the spillover can influence the EB2I forward movements.

mbawa.. It is always nice to sit on the side and blame it all on the leaders here. First thing you have to remember is that these poor/great folks (poor for representing people like you and great for working for representing all immigrant hopefuls) are really working for YOU and me. It is quite convenient to blame others than doing things yourself. If you think you are any better, why not come up with your USEFUL/GREAT ideas and see if the IV core respects those ideas or not. Lobbying or not, when the government is ready to think about CIR or immigration in general, I am pretty sure that IV can make OUR voice heard. Got the point?

Bad news unless they allow mass conversion of TR applications into non-RIR. Imagine they took two years to get rid of 220,000 easier applications (2005 and 2006). Now they are left with some of the old TR applications and they must be thinking of how to meet the September deadline. I would not be surprised if they ask for an extension, citing processing difficulties.

I got an email saying that "On December 2, 2010, we ordered production of your new card" today. Me and my wife both got emails. Our wait (green in our life) for so many years came to a very happy end. My hearty wishes to all the friends who have been waiting in the queue to have best of luck.

This forum is for immigration purpose ..yes ..but if someone wants to educate themselves on other related/non related topics that should be fine a long as they are not forcing anyone to answer their question or coming in the way of the purspose of the forum..
any day better than some of the non-informative,unhealthy topics that have been discussed here..
But again each to their own as I guess everybody has their style of thinking what's healthy and what's not.

Gandhigiri approach to retrogression in my opinion will be to do some good deeds that give Immigration Voice positive publicity, which in turn pushes the retrogression debate in the forefront in the national press.
There are several positive things that IV could do:
1. Start a small scholarship in a poor/immigrant dominated school/neighborhood.
2. Help some hospital in a poor/immigrant dominated.
3. Have a blood camp.
4. Donate food.
5. Send flowers to Senate & House.
Guys, all we need is positive publicity. We do not need large sums of money to do this.
