I don't understand why you are picking up on facts and faults on other post.What mirage is saying is true.I know 3 families stuck up in this GC process...all true cases.
There are some lucky people who have bought old labor substitution ;)who came to US in 2004 and got their GC's cleared and are very :D.
Some really who have come here to study...living in US for past 10 years genuine appliers are really stuck in this.They have all applied their labor and got them cleared only dec 2006.
people who are interested can send those letters if not ignore the thread.
If you are EB2 good for you...Its not that easy to change jobs having families..and when you are satisfied with the employer ,why would they change.
Everyone here want GC to stay in this country.And we all are here to find solutions thru IV - active participation is better.
Pani's letter is not that bad...if you dont like alter what you want to express and send it.People can write what they are facing only.

i think I have stated it earlier...
for handsfree , you could either do it through accountant or legalzoom.com once you set up the company, you need to get your Federal tax id for the company, then file for any local city business license ( few cities have that requirement), Open a bank account...
Please PM me if you still have questions... In this thread I had posted my reply and also given the accountant details , who helped me...

I know I might get bashed over this - but I don't see the so called "freeloaders" like me to be worthless as donors often tend to accuse.
In the past, I have doled out valuable information.... and have taken pains to scan my RFE and post it with detailed explanations etc for the benefit of the community. I have replied to people to the best of my knowledge and participated in numerous mailing campaigns. While those efforts may not be even close to what others have done here, I do believe that donations should be just that 'donations' and not turn that into a 'membership'.
Already I see people asking for exceptions "I have done xyz so I should get free access etc". I'm with that other 'donor' who said that we have enough divisions in our community already.
Keep in mind that by giving such an incentive to pay, you are also giving a disincentive for people to participate and share their data and their valuable experiences (thats not freeloading!).

I think I am in a similar situation with you.Me and my kids are also separated from my wife for almost a year now. It was really a big mistake on my part not to join her on her Embassy interview thinking visas were plentiful.BIG MISTAKE. I was at that time not well informed about visa availability.Our PD is Nov 05 and I am from the Philippines. I do feel what you feel. It is an emotional roller coaster ride. Are you derivative beneficiaries of your wife's Sched A petition and what country are you from? If you dont mind me asking.

That's exactly the point..USCIS is HEADED by fools...the problem lies within...the heads dont really care if their staff is underpaid and over-worked..but the fact of it is that they just don't have the money nor manpower to get the work done. When USCIS adjudicated all those cases in 2002, it was not of their own volition but because Congress mandated it..6 years later they dont care for the immigrants..u think they'd (policy makers) care 2 hoots for the the USCIS officers...just take a look at the Infopass centers...from my experience I havent seen more than 2 officers helping customers at a time..no money..no manpower

There is no doubt about NRIs are the prime reason for the real estate boom in India. It is tottally unbelivable that 2 bedroom flat in a normal second class town has gone to up to 40 lakes. Decent independent houses are in terms of crores in small cites. Two factors. One is foreign money and second in black money from local dadas/politicians. Also demand vs supply. The availble land is small and demand for that land is too high due to these two gropus.
I visited one of my NRI friends house in India, where he is not going to live as he is a US citizen. His parents already won two houses and they bought another house as a investment. This house in a recent development area in a small town where there is no high tech employment is avialable; In my feeling it may not worth 5 lakes; they were selling at 45 lakes. Even if anyone ready to pay 45 lakes there is no unit is avialable; everything was sold to NRIs. No resident won the houses in that area. All the dads and mos are baby sitting the houses. Renting alos not that easy. It is tottally unbelivable. I wonder why all the NRIs buying house in India and increisng the house price? The guys working here (or any part of the world) and not going to live in India, why government should allow to buy the house and increse the price? Everyone tries to do real estate bussiness there. That is the main reason for price increase.
Is is sad. All these NRIs are going to learn a very valuable lesson. Speculation is not a good strategy for investing. A lot learned that in the past few months here in USA. In a year we will be seeing the full blown post bubble correction in India. If one can rent an apartment for 15,000 why would one buy it for 50 lakhs. The interest alone on 50 lakhs is 50,000 every month. It is like buy and rent it and loose money. Instead why don't they deposit in a bank and get 50,000 every month:confused:

These people were not eligible for EB2 when they filed their own labor.. so they should NOT BE ALLOWED TO PORT THEIR OLD PDs.

I had a Masters at the time EB3 was filed in 2002....from a top US school. The employer was okay with any category. The lawyer messed up...said that all categories were current and he knows best.

The prime objective is to attract media attention, in other words "give them something to talk about". What flower campaing did last year was exactly that...Can we achieve the same thing with Book or Calculators or Clock or Poster, we need to figure that out!
How about each one of us does whatever is suitable with common theme being similar letter/concern etc. If we choose clock/cal etc. shortly we will run out them at sites such as amazon, etc. Anyway only some of us will be able to do it...But flowers, letters, fliers are limitless and everyone can send...
So my suggestion is --draft a common themed letter and send the letter along with whatever anyone chooses to send along (with clock, cal, flier or simply letter. But please make sure the fliers are not offensive)...
