    From the San Francisco Chronicle: A Concord man was sentenced on Friday to six months in prison and three years of supervised release, for making false statements on 11 applications for high-technology worker visas, United States Attorney Melinda Haag and Patrick Durkin, Special Agent In-Charge of the Diplomatic Security Service announced. Chennupati admitted that between April 1, 2008 and March 3, 2009, he submitted 11 foreign worker petitions to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services that contained counterfeit job offer letters from the Gap Corporation, Wells Fargo Bank and Genentech.     my first PWD was submitted on feb 8 and it came back apr 8. the wage was too high. so a new pwd was submitted on apr 16. it came back today with a proper wage.

    We are among the July filers. TSC applications went to VSC and back to TSC. My wife and I both got our EADs. Social Sceurity office told my wife that her A# is bringing up someone else's data. We went to Infopass, but it was of no help and we were adviced to contact or write to TSC. We placed a service request by calling the national phone number. That was more than two weeks back. Nothing has happened yet. All three applications - 485, EAD, AP has the same wrong A#. Her EAD is of no value without the correct A# that has to be rectified at the 485 stage and then EAD. Any suggestions?

    Hi

    I filed my 485 on June 4th 2007 with NSC. It was transferred to TSC and received my Receipt notice. Now I am going to file my AP.

    My question is where should I file my AP?. Do I need to file with NSC or TSC?.

    Please someone respond.

    Hi all,
    I received an I-485 RFE for me and my spouse on July 28th. For the primary applicant it was Employment verification letter (currently dated letter from employer describing duties,position and salary info) and for my wife it was about proof of bonafide marriage.

    My attorney replied to RFE on Aug 6th with necessary evidence and EVL.

    Online status for both of us changed today Aug 10th from RFE SENT to RESPONSE TO RFE RECEIVED AND CASE PROCESSING RESUMED.

    Hope this info is helpful in estimating time for people in similar situations.

    I left the U.S on October 30 2009. My L.C. [Perm] had been filed on July 30 2009 and was recently approved.
    My 6 year H1B expired on Feb 2 2010, with approximately 160 days available for recapture.
    My company needs me to return to the US urgently and is wanting me to apply for a Business Visa.
    Subsequently when I am in the U.S, they intend to file for I140 and then 7th year H1B
    extension plus recapture time based on pending I140
    Is this feasible? -- What impact would it have on my green card application process?

    My PD for the EB-2 application is December 2005 BUT I filed my 485 in August 2008 so I am wondering if the US CIS will work on my 485 once my PD is current or will they wait for the PD and the 485 filing date to be current?

    Good Morning Folks,

    How about this ? Lets say your consulting firm is ready to file your I-485 upon lots of restriction such as two year agreement and to spend around 10 gran.

    While the big firm who has filed the PERM and waiting for the approval. In this case, can we do both the cases to see which is better upon the current situation.

    This will help few of our folks and your thoughts are always appreciated.

    Can some1 help me to sort out my problem:

    - I was working for a company A in L1-B which was about to expire by Dec 2006. So I applied for H1 and got the petition / application approved. I received the I94 also.
    - But due to some reason, I travelled back to India and didn't submit the H1-I94 @ the port of exit.
    - Now the same company A again processed me L1 in India and Im back to US after a yr. with the new L1 and never told any1 about my existing H1B visa

    I need to know whether can I start looking jobs on that H1B without legal procedures?
    Is there anything i have to do in order to activate my H1??

    Appreciate your feedback in advance....
